16/32 Channel Motorized Commutator for Intan chips with stimulation.
NeuroTek is excited to produce a high-quality economical commercial motorized commutator for Intan and OpenEphys products. This commutator series is compact with a robust aluminum design (no 3D printed parts). This product is easily adapted to recording chambers and is used in the therapeutics industry. It utilizes a magnetic hall-effect sensor to directly detect cable twisting. Once twisting is detected, a microcontroller and motor are used to untwist the cables. Sensitivity is superior to indirect clip cable methods and can even be customized for birds or juvenile mice. This particular series is wired to accommodate RHS16 and 32 channel INTAN Stim/Recording headstages.
